Company History

Reshmi Industries – The flagship company of SNG group was established in 1960 By Mr. K.G. Balan as SNG Engineering works in Koratty. In the 50 year period of its existence, RESHMI industries has grown from a company employing just 2 people to an employee strength of over 800. In the 5 decades of serving our customers, we have developed competencies that have led to successful venturing into other sectors under the SNG banner.

Our Milestones:

1960

SNG Engineering works started by Mr.K.G. Balan, in Koratty with an employee strength of 3 (including himself)

1980

started manufacturing site in Coimbatore as reshmi industries by his son Mr K.B Sajan. Initially with the sewing thread winding machines only

2004

Reshmi unveils hig speed winding machines, propeller winding machines, automatic winding machines

2006

Owing to increased demand of RESHMI machines, a new unit is established in Vilankurchi; a 30,000 sq.ft. Pillar less facility specifically for machine assembly
