Reshmi Industries – The flagship company of SNG group was established in 1960 By Mr. K.G. Balan as SNG Engineering works in Koratty In the 64 years period of its existence, RESHMI industries have grown from a company employing just 10 people to an employee strength of over 800. Reshmi was founded with the purpose of manufacturing Textile Machinery such as sewing thread winders, soft winders, assembly winders which are meant to process all types of staple yarns. Mr.Balan was committed to delivering the best quality, technology, and service available. We at Reshmi strive to continue his legacy every day!

AUG 1956
Inception
Founded by Mr. Kallikat Govindan Balan Under the name of SNG Engineering works in a Small Town, Koratty, Kerala. Initial days of Reshmi involved manufacturing critical components and spare parts for Imported Textile machinery which were difficult to source.
SEP 1985
Establishment of Reshmi at Coimbatore
Establishment of Reshmi Industries at Coimbatore by Mr. K.B Sajan initially with manufacture of Conventional Sewing thread winders.
NOV 1987

MCB - Manual Cop Banding machine is introduced
DEC 1990
Reshmi High-speed winding solutions
Reshmi unveils High-speed winding solutions with groove drums for Dye package winding / Assembly winding and Rewinding.

Reshmi Introduce's High-speed Precision winders
Introduction of High-speed Precision winders - with Counter Rotating blades for Dye Package/Rewinding and Assembly winding

Reshmi Introduce's High-Performance Cone winder
Introduction of High-Performance Cone winder for Sewing thread at ITME Birmingham which was a Huge Success.

Reshmi's New Manufacturing unit
Owing to Increased Demand, A new Manufacturing unit of 90,000 Sqft specifically for machine assembly is established.

Introduction of Precitube - High-Performance Cops Winder is unveiled at ITMA Milan
SEP 2017
Introduction of Dynaflex
Introduction of Dynaflex winding Technology which will be available across all winding platforms for Dye Package / Rewinding / Assembly Winding. Dynaflex winding algorithm enables a 25 to 30% increase in package content than traditional precision winders.
